This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey design. Respondents in this study were 377 senior high school students in the DKI Jakarta area. The aspects explored were related to students' perceptions of the implementation of multicultural education in Indonesian language learning, which include the formation of cultured people, teaching noble human values, respect for differences between students, and evaluation of learning related to cultural perceptions. The results showed that most students gave positive responses to the implementation of mutual education in Indonesian language learning. This study emphasizes the importance of ongoing support from stakeholders to ensure that multicultural education can be embedded in every aspect of school life. These findings suggest the need for further research to explore the impact of the implementation of multicultural education on students' attitudes and behaviors and the adaptation of learning models in facing the challenges of globalization. Reading comprehension is one of the essential skills in learning English which is often a challenge for students. In this research, short stories were chosen as a learning medium to increase students' interest and motivation in reading, and make it easier for them to understand the text. Students find it difficult to understand English lessons because they have not mastered basic reading skills, both in English and their mother tongue. This research uses an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design. Data were analyzed using the t test to determine significant differences between the two groups. The results of the research show that there is a significant increase in the reading comprehension of students who learn using short stories compared to students who use the comic method. This shows that the use of short stories as open-ended material can improve students' reading comprehension skills effectively. Data was collected through pre-test and post-test, then analyzed using normality T-test, homogeneity test, and paired t-test with the help of SPSS 22. The effect of Shrot Story on students of reading comprehension at the eight grade student of MTs. Abdi bina insani jiput Pandeglang in Academic Year 2023/2024 is. This is proven by the t-test value in the paired t-test of -11.158 with a df of 19 and a two-sided significance of 0.000, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. In other words, there is a significant difference in post-test scores between the experimental and control classes. It can be concluded that the use of short story strategies significantly improves The reading ability of students at Mts Abdi can be human strategies provide a better understanding of the structure and techniques of short story books and more overall ideas, and improve their reading abilities
2024-10-31T12:01:56+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jm.ejournal.id/index.php/mendidik/article/view/346Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis Siswa Melalui Media Video Pembelajaran2024-11-25T13:55:47+07:00Ahmad Junaedijunaediajun112@gmail.comEka Rosdianwinataekawinata@gmai.comDeni Pratidianadenipratidiana@gmail.com
This research examines students' creative thinking in learning mathematics at the SMP/MTs level using video learning media. The results of the study showed that there were a total of 18 (eighteen) slang words commonly used by students in grades XI.5 and XI.7 of SMAN 12 Pandeglang. In grade XI.5, there were a total of ten slang words. Seven of the data were included in the category of slang patterns in the form of words, three data in the slang pattern in the form of abbreviations. No data was found for the type of slang pattern in numbers, phrases, and in sentences. Then in grade XI.7, a total of eight slang words were found. Two of them were slang patterns in the form of words, six data were found in the slang pattern in the form of abbreviations. No data was found for the type of slang pattern in numbers, phrases, and slang patterns in sentences. The positive impact of using this slang language is that students become more creative.

Regardless of whether this slang language is disturbing or not, as long as it is used in the right situation, the right media, and the right communicator. The use of slang can also make it difficult for language users to use it properly and correctly. The use of slang on Facebook is very dynamic, because every student has the creativity and ability to create a new slang word. Therefore, research on slang can continue to be carried out from time to time as a sign that language tends to change.
2024-10-31T12:44:12+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jm.ejournal.id/index.php/mendidik/article/view/339The Effect of Padlet Application Towards Students Writing Skill in The Narrative Text at The Eleven Grade Students of SMAN 12 Pandeglang2024-10-31T12:51:21+07:00Nani Putpita Sarinaniputpitasari@gmail.comAri Fajria Novarifajria@gmail.comTatu Munawarohtatumunawaroh8@gmail.com

Nani Putpita Sari (2024). The Effect of Padlet Application Towards Students Writing Skill in the Narrative Text at the Eleven Grade Students of SMA N 12 Pandeglang in Academic Years 2024/2025.

This research paper aims to know whether there is a significant effect of Padlet application towards students' writing skill of Recount text at the Eleven Grade of SMAN 12 Pandeglang - Banten in Academic Year 2024/2025.
